Can I get a copy of the activities my child did in class?

Yes! We have workbooks available for all sessions. Typically these are directly distributed to parents, but if you have not received one, please reach out to info@isteamafterschool.com and we will be happy to send one to you.

Does my child need to attend a certain school to take your classes?

Accepted Answer

Our classes are only open to students who attend the school where the class takes place. Any exceptions are solely at the discretion of the school, not iSTEAM.

Question 3

My child is homeschooled, can they join an iSTEAM class?

Accepted Answer

In general, schools do not allow students who are not enrolled in the school to attend after school programs at the school. However, park districts may offer iSTEAM or similar programs that are open to all. We recommend checking with your local park district to see what’s available near you.

Question 4

Are scholarships available for classes?

Accepted Answer

In some cases, iSTEAM offers scholarship opportunities to schools, and the school selects which students receive them. Unfortunately, we cannot award scholarships directly if you contact us.

I tried to sign up but the class is full, what do I do?

Thanks for your interest in our programs! Please email us at info@isteamafterschool.com with the name of your child and school they go to and we will add you to the waitlist.

My child is outside of the grade range, can they still join class?

Accepted Answer

We may be able to make exceptions for some classes, however please note that programming is designed with a specific age range in mind to ensure the best experience for students. Please email us at info@isteamafterschool.com with your child’s name, grade and which class/school they are looking to join so we can review and get back to you.

My child cannot attend every class, can I get a prorated refund?

Does my child need to bring anything to class?

Only their curiosity and willingness to have fun! All supplies are provided.

How can I bring iSTEAM to my child’s school?

We love bringing our program to more students! Call our office at (773) 697-3115 or email info@isteamafterschool.com and let us know that school, and if you have a contact and we will follow up to offer our programming. Part of a PTA group? We would love to work with you directly to bring our programming into schools!
